Private Provision
Finding the right therapist is important.  We all work differently with different approaches.
It's worth reading profiles, websites, meeting with therapists, talk about what you need and what they can offer.
The going rate for therapy is around £45 to £50 for a 50 - 60 min session.  Some therapists offer reduced rates.
You don't have to be qualified to promote and charge as a therapist. We advise you to look for UKCP or BACP accredited.
Ways to find private therapists:
*You can google for your area.
*The counselling directory: Qualified only, contains detailed profiles.  www.counselling-directory.org.uk
*Psychology Today: Includes those in accredited training. Gives full profiles. www.psychologytoday.com
